Details of each walk, the meeting place and parking arrangements will be announced on our Facebook page and our website a couple of weeks before each walk.

Our walks are all between four and eight miles in length depending on weather and ground conditions and take between 2 and 3 hours to complete.

There is a charge of £5 per person for each walk, which helps us cover the costs of setting up and running West Suffolk Walks as well as our public liability insurance. You can pay the walk leader directly on the day of the walk.

To book a place on any of our walks, email us on info@westsuffolkwalks.co.uk. phone us on 07840 924496 or simply turn up for a 10:00am start.  Most of our walks start in Little Bradley, CB9 7JD; Grid Ref: TL681521; What3words: competent.dustbin.shoppers, or at one of our local pubs. Some of our regular walks...

Little Bradley, Cowlinge and the Upper Stour
(approx eight miles/four hours)

Starting at the picturesque hamlet of Little Bradley with its ancient church, we will walk up through Hobbies Green towards the village of Cowlinge and then drop down into the Stour Valley near its source, before returning through East Green above Great Bradley and back to the starting point.

Orchards and cottages in the Stour valley

Borough Green and the Icknield Way
(approx six miles/three hours)

Meeting outside The Bull in Borough Green (CB9 9NH), we will walk south-westwards along sections of the Icknield Way towards the source of the River Stour and then do a circuit back round to finish, about 6 miles later, back at Borough Green. Walkers are welcome to order food for themselves  at the pub before the walk so it is ready when they return, or stay on for a drink, or just head home..

Bespoke walks
